Trixie and diamonds 16-bit
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
"Trixie and Diamonds" is an action retro game for 16-bit DOS real mode. The player's goal is to collect specific number of diamonds on level without losing all health touching the monsters. The character can move, teleport among platforms of a level, throw fireballs and cast shield.
The game requires a DOS emulator to work, but installers for Windows and Linux already include a configured DOSBox-emulator.
The game is developed on NASM and Microsoft QuickBASIC.

Solid game which is quite difficult even on easy. I appreciated that there was ingame help (controls) and a backstory, like in the good old DOS days.
